शतक से चुके ध्रुव जुरेल, भारत 307 पर ऑलआउट, इंग्लैंड को 46 रनो की बढ़त..
भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच 5 मैचों की श्रृंखला का चौथा मैच रांची में खेला जा रहा है. आज सुबह टेस्ट मैच के तीसरे दिन भारत ने 217-7 से आगे बढ़ते हुए 90 रन और जोड़कर 307 रन ही बना पाया. हालांकि ध्रुव जुरेल के शानदार 90 रन की बदौलत भारत संकट की स्थिति से पूरी तरह उबर चुका है. कल एक वक्त ऐसा लग रहा था मानो इंग्लैंड आसानी से 100 रन की बढ़त प्राप्त कर लेगा, लेकिन ध्रुव जुरेल और कुलदीप यादव के बीच हुई 76 रनों की बेहतरीन साझेदारी ने इंग्लैंड की इस सम्भावना पर पानी फेर दिया.
इससे पहले टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उत्तरी इंग्लैंड जो रुट के शतक(122) और फिर अंत में ओली रॉबिन्सन के शानदार 58 रन की बदौलत 353 रन जैसे सम्मानजनक टोटल तक पहुंचने में कामयाब रही. इस टोटल के जवाब में भारत जब बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी तो कप्तान रोहित शर्मा का बल्ला फिर खामोश रहा और वे 2 रन बनाकर पवेलियन लौट गए. लेकिन ताबड़तोड़ फॉर्म में चल रहे यशस्वी ने इस मैच में भी शानदार 73 रन की आक्रामक पारी खेली. यशस्वी के अलावा शुभमन गिल ने भी 38 रन का योगदान दिया. इसके अलावा अन्य सभी मध्यक्रम के बल्लेबाज इस मैच में नाकाम रहे. एक वक्त संकट में घिर चुकी भारतीय टीम को नए विकेटकीपर बल्लेबाज ध्रुव जुरेल ने संभाला और कुलदीप यादव ने भी उनका बखूबी साथ दिया. ध्रुव ने 149 गेंदों का सामना करते हुए जबरदस्त 90 रन बनाये जिसमे 6 चौके और 4 छक्के शामिल हैं और कुलदीप यादव ने भी 131 गेंदों का सामना करके 2 चौको की मदद से 28 रन बनाये. इंग्लैंड के पास अब 46 रनों की बढ़त है और अब भारत चाहेगा कि इंग्लैंड को दूसरी पारी में हर हाल में 250-300 रनों पर रोका जा सके.
