आज एएफसी इंडिया लिमिटेड (AFC India Limited) और दत्तोपंत ठेंगड़ी राष्ट्रीय श्रमिक शिक्षा एवं विकास बोर्ड (DTNBWED) — जो कि श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के अंतर्गत एक स्वायत्त संस्था है — के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर सफलतापूर्वक हस्ताक्षर किए गए।
यह समझौता ज्ञापन एएफसी इंडिया लिमिटेड की ओर से श्री अवनेश कालिक तथा डीटीएनबीडब्ल्यूईडी की ओर से श्री आदित्य भट्टाचार्य द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित किया गया। इस अवसर पर श्री विरजेश उपाध्याय, अध्यक्ष, श्री नीरज शर्मा, महानिदेशक, श्रीमती लता गौतम, श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय, तथा श्री मॉरिस नाथन, सलाहकार, एएफसी इंडिया लिमिटेड, की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही।
यह सहयोग कौशल विकास, शिक्षा एवं पाठ्यक्रम निर्माण, रोजगार-संलग्न प्रशिक्षण, उद्यमिता विकास, मीडिया अभियान तथा देशव्यापी जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से युवा सशक्तिकरण एवं समावेशी विकास को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
यह समझौता भारत तथा उससे आगे कौशल विकास, उद्यमिता संवर्धन और कार्यबल सशक्तिकरण के लिए संयुक्त पहलों का मार्ग प्रशस्त करता है, जिससे देश में आत्मनिर्भर एवं कुशल कार्यबल निर्माण के राष्ट्रीय मिशन को बल मिलेगा।
