मुजफ्फरपुर। कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने बुधवार को अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के एक बयान का हवाला देते हुए दावा किया कि ट्रंप के फोन करने के बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने ‘ऑपरेशन सिंदूर’ के तहत पाकिस्तान में की जा रही सैन्य कार्रवाई को पांच घंटे के भीतर रोक दिया था। उन्होंने ‘वोटर अधिकार यात्रा’ के दौरान मुजफ्फरपुर में एक सभा को संबोधित करते हुए यह दावा किया।
लोकसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा, ‘‘ट्रंप ने आज कहा है कि जब भारत और पाकिस्तान का युद्ध हो रहा था तो मैंने नरेन्द्र मोदी को फोन कर कहा कि आप यह जो कर रहे हैं उसे 24 घंटे के अंदर बंद करिए। नरेन्द्र मोदी ने 24 घंटे में नहीं, सिर्फ पांच घंटे में ही सारा का सारा (सैन्य अभियान) रोक दिया।’’ उन्होंने दावा किया कि इसे मीडिया में नहीं बताया जाएगा।
अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने एक बार फिर दावा किया है कि उन्होंने भारत एवं पाकिस्तान के बीच युद्ध को ‘‘परमाणु युद्ध’’ में बदलने से रोक दिया था और उन्हें यह धमकी दी थी कि अगर दोनों पड़ोसी देश संघर्ष विराम पर सहमत नहीं हुए तो वह कोई व्यापार समझौता नहीं करेंगे तथा उन पर शुल्क (टैरिफ) लगाएंगे। ट्रंप ने मंगलवार को ‘व्हाइट हाउस’ में एक कैबिनेट बैठक के दौरान यह टिप्पणी की। अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति ने यह भी दावा किया कि उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी से बात की थी।
भारत ने खारिज किए ट्रंप के दावे
भारत ने लगातार ट्रंप के इन दावों को खारिज किया है। भारत का कहना है कि पाकिस्तान के साथ गोलीबारी और संघर्ष विराम का समझौता दोनों देशों की सेनाओं के महानिदेशक (DGsMO) स्तर की सीधी बातचीत के बाद हुआ था।
