देश को मिली पहली अंडर वाटर मेट्रो, कोलकाता में PM मोदी ने दिखाई हरी झंडी
देश को आज यानी बुधवार को पहली अंडर वाटर मेट्रो मिल गई. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कोलकाता में इसका उद्घाटन किया. इसके अलावा पीएम मोदी ने कई अन्य परियोजनाओं का भी शिलान्यास और उद्घाटन किया. कुल मिलाकर पीएम मोदी बंगाल 15400 करोड़ रुपये की सौगात दी.बता दें कि कोलकाता की अंडरवाटर मेट्रो का निर्माण हुगली नदी के नीचे कराया गया है.
यह अंडरवॉटर मेट्रो रेल नदी और हावड़ा को कोलकाता शहर को जोड़ेगी. अंडरवाटर मेट्रो के उदघाटन के अलावा पीएम मोदी कवि सुभाष-हेमंत मुखोपाध्याय मेट्रो खंड और तारातला-माजेरहाट मेट्रो खंड का भी उद्घाटन किया.
