उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार माफिया के खिलाफ लगातार अभियान चला रही है। वहीं दूसरी ओर कुछ ऐसे भी बदमाश है। जो खाकी और खादी की छत्रछाया मैं फल फूल रहे हैं कुछ ऐसे ही कहानी कानपुर के गैंगस्टर अजय ठाकुर की है। सेल्फी वाला हिस्ट्री सीटर के नाम से मशहूर इस बदमाश के खिलाफ अलग-अलग स्थान में कुल 26 मुकदमे दर्ज है। इसमें एक युति को होटल में बुलाकर गैंगरेप करने और उसका वीडियो बनाकर ब्लैकमेल करने का मामला तो है ही, एक मासूम बच्ची के साथ डिजिटल रेप का भी आरोप है।
इस बदमाश की हिस्ट्री सीट देखने से पता चलता है कि इसका मूल धंधा लोगों को बंधक बनाकर फिरौती करना और लोगों को डरा धमका कर उसे उगाही करना रहा है। वैसे तो या बदमाश बचपन से ही मनवार था। और आए दिन लड़ाई झगड़ा करता रहता था। हालांकि इसके खिलाफ कानपुर के बार थाने में पहला मुकदमा साल 2016 में दर्ज किया गया। इसमें आरोप था। कि हफ्ता वसूली के लिए उसने किसी कारोबारी से मारपीट और गाली-गलौज की थी। साल 2016 में ही इस बदमाश को पुलिस ने देशी पिस्तौल के साथ अरेस्ट भी किया था, लेकिन या अपने राजनीतिक रसूख के दम पर तुरंत छूट गया।
