अली जफर पाकिस्तान के एक पॉपुलर एक्टर, सिंगर और सॉन्ग राइटर हैं. पाकिस्तानी सिनेमा के साथ-साथ उन्होंने ‘डियर जिंदगी’ और ‘चश्मे बद्दूर’ जैसी कई बॉलीवुड फिल्मों में भी काम किया है. साल 2011 में आई ‘मेरे ब्रदर की दुल्हन’ उनकी एक पॉपुलर हिंदी फिल्म है, जिसमें वो कटरीना कैफ और इमरान खान जैसे सितारों के साथ नजर आए थे. इन दिनों वो पाकिस्तान के ही सिंगर आतिफ असलम पर कही गई बात को लेकर सुर्खियों का हिस्सा हैं.
दरअसल, गाना गाने की काबिलियत और नाम पहचान को लेकर सोशल मीडिया पर अक्सर ही अली जफर और आतिफ असलम की तुलना होती रहती है. हाल में अली पाकिस्तान के अहमद अली भुट्टो के पॉडकास्ट में आए. वहां उनसे इसी को लेकर सवाल किया गया. जिसपर अली जफर ने कहा, “अब दोनों की एक जिंदगी है, एक करियर है. मेरा हमेशा से ही ये मानना रहा है कि आर्टिस्ट होकर हम लोगों को एक दूसरे के साथ सामने मिल बैठकर काम करना चाहिए. बात करनी चाहिए. ये जो मुकबाले वाले माहौल है, ये नहीं होनी चाहिए. कोई इंसिक्योरिटी नहीं होनी चाहिए दिल में. अंतत: आज अली जफर है , कल कोई और होगा, आज आतिफ असलम है कल कोई और होगा.”
आतिफ असलम को लेकर ये बातें भी कही
आगे अलि जफर ने ये भी कहा, “हर किसी का जिंदगी देखने का एक अलग तरीका होता है और मैं उसकी इज्जत करता हूं. मेरे मुंह से आपने आतिफ के बारे में हमेशा तारीफ ही सुनी होगी, चाहे उसने कभी की हो या ना, मुझे नहीं पता. मैं हमेशा उनका अच्छा सोचता हूं और मेरा मानना है कि वो हमारे मुल्क की एक संपत्ति हैं.”
बता दें, कि अली जफर ने साल 2010 में आई फिल्म ‘तेरे बिन लादेन’ के जरिए बॉलीवुड में कदम रखा था. वहीं उसके एक साल बाद ही वो कटरीना के साथ ‘मेरे ब्रदर की दुल्हन’ में दिखे, जिससे उन्हें खूब पॉपुलैरिटी हासिल हुई. अली जफर की तरह आतिम असलम भी बॉलीवुड में काम कर चुके हैं.
