प्रसिद्ध गजल गायक पंकज उधास का लंबी बीमारी के कारण आज निधन हो गया है। वे 72 साल के थे. पंकज उधास की बेटी नायब उधास के पिता के निधन की पुष्टि की गई है। मीडिया विद्वान के अनुसार पंकज उधास का निधन 26 फरवरी को सुबह करीब 11 बजे ब्रीच कैंडी अस्पताल में हुआ।
बेटी नायब उधास ने एक पोस्ट पर शेयर किया शेयर इस बात की जानकारी यहां दी गई है। उन्होंने अपने पोस्ट में लिखा कि, ‘भारी दिल और बड़े दुख के साथ आप सभी को सूचित करना पड़ रहा है कि, लंबी बीमारी के कारण 26 फरवरी 2024 को पद्मश्री पंकज उधास का निधन हो गया है।’
कई दिनों से उनकी तबीयत ठीक नहीं चल रही थी। इस जानकारी के सामने ही उनके सामान्य उपयोगकर्ताओं को झटका लगा है। सिंगर के निधन की खबर से फिल्म जगत में शोक की लहर है। मशहूर गायक और संगीतकार शंकर महादेवन ने उन्हें याद करते हुए कहा कि, पंकज उधास के निधन से संगीत जगत को जो बड़ा नुकसान हुआ, उसकी भरपाई नहीं हो सकती। सोशल मीडिया पर प्रशंसक भी उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दे रहे हैं।
