शाहजहापुंर में जलालाबाद का नाम बदला, अब इस नाम से जाना जायेगा शहर, गृह मंत्रालय ने दी मंजूरी
नई दिल्ली। उत्तर प्रदेश के शाहजहांपुर स्थित जलालाबाद का नाम बदल गया है, जिसकी मंजूरी गृह मंत्रालय ने दे दी है। जलालाबाद को अब परशुरामपुरी के नाम से जाना जायेगा। बताया जा रहा है कि इस संबंध में गृह मंत्रालय की तरफ से यूपी के मुख्य सचिव को पत्र लिख दिया गया है।
दरअसल, यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने जून माह में इसके लिए निर्देश जारी किये थे, जिसके बाद शासन की तरफ से केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय को इस संबंध में पत्र भेजा गया था। यूपी सरकार की तरफ से तीन साल पहले ही जलालाबाद को भगवान परशुराम की जन्मस्थली के रूप में विकसित करने का आदेश जारी किया गया था। जिसका काम भी चल रहा है। इतना ही नहीं केंद्रीय राज्यमंत्री जितिन प्रसाद ने भी इस संबंध में सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ को पत्र था। आज जब नाम बदलने के लिए गृह मंत्रालय से मंजूरी मिली, उसके बाद जितिन प्रसाद ने गृह मंत्री अमित शाह को धन्यवाद दिया है।
