U20 वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप: काजल दोचक ने गोल्ड मेडल जीतकर लहराया तिरंगा, चीनी प्लेयर को दी शिकस्त
अंडर-20 वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप में कुश्ती में भारत की काजल दोचक ने कमाल का प्रदर्शन किया है। उन्होंने महिलाओं के 72 किलोग्राम वर्ग में गोल्ड मेडल अपने नाम किया है और फाइनल में चीन की लियू युकी को 8-6 से हराया है। उनके आगे चीन की प्लेयर टिक नहीं पाई और घुटने टेक दिए। काजल के अलावा श्रुति (50 किग्रा) और सारिका (53 किग्रा) ने ब्रॉन्ज मेडल अपने नाम किए।
सेमीफाइनल में जैस्मी रॉबिन्सन को दी शिकस्त
अंडर-20 वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप में कुश्ती के खेल में काजल दोचक ने दमदार खेल दिखाया। उन्होंने सबसे पहले बुल्गारिया की एमिली मिहाइलोवा और किर्गिस्तान की कैयरकुल शारशेबायेवा पर धमाकेदार जीत हासिल की। फिर उन्होंने सेमीफाइनल में भी अपना धांसू खेल जारी रखा और अमेरिका की जैस्मीन रॉबिन्सन को 13-6 से शिकस्त दी। जबकि जैस्मीन मजबूत खिलाड़ी हैं। लेकिन उन्हें हराकर काजल ने फाइनल का टिकट कटा लिया।
लियू युकी को चटाई धूल
फाइनल में एक समय काजल दोचक ने 4-0 की बढ़त हासिल कर ली थी। फिर इसके बाद लियू युकी ने वापसी की और उन्हें टक्कर दी। लेकिन काजल ने अच्छा डिफेंस दिखाया और मौका पड़ते ही आक्रामक रुख अपनाया। अंत में उन्होंने फाइनल मुकाबला 8-6 से अपने नाम कर लिया।
बचपन में ही सीख लिए कुश्ती के दांव-पेंच
इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक काजल दोचक का परिवार सोनीपत में रहता है। उनके पिता और चाचा भी कुश्ती खिलाड़ी रहे हैं। उन्होंने कुलदीप मलिक कुश्ती एकेडमी में ट्रेनिंग ली। इसके बाद साल 2024 में उन्होंने 73 किलोग्राम वर्ग में अंडर-17 एशियाई खिताब और 69 किलोग्राम वर्ग में अंडर-17 विश्व खिताब जीता। फिर उन्होंने 2023 में किर्गिस्तान में होने वाली अंडर-17 विश्व चैंपियनशिप में 73 किलोग्राम वर्ग में खिताब जीता था।
काजल के चाचा कृष्णा ने इंडियन एक्सप्रेस को बताया कि मैं 96 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में प्रतिस्पर्धा करता था। मैं योगेश्वर दत्त और सुशील कुमार के साथ नेशनल कैंप में भी था। मैंने काजल को पहलवान बनाने का फैसला किया। अभी हमारा परिवार स्थानीय यात्री सेवा चलाने वाले परिवहन व्यवसाय में है। काजल को भारत के लिए पदक जीतते देखकर हमें खुशी होती है।
