घुमंतू जातियों के लिए गठित होगा बोर्ड : योगी आदित्यनाथ

लखनऊ। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने रविवार को विमुक्त व घुमंतू जातियों के कल्याणार्थ आयोजित विमुक्त जाति दिवस समारोह में शिरकत करते हुए एक बड़ी घोषणा की। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार घुमंतू और विमुक्त जातियों के कल्याण के लिए एक विशेष बोर्ड का गठन करेगी। साथ ही इन जातियों के लोगों को कॉलोनी और मकान उपलब्ध कराने की योजना पर भी काम किया जाएगा। योगी आदित्यनाथ ने विमुक्त जाति दिवस पर सभी को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि नट, बंजारा, बावरिया, सासी, कंजड़, कालबेलिया, सपेरा और जोगी जैसी जातियां देश की वह वीर जातियां हैं जिन्होंने विदेशी हमलों के समय योद्धा के रूप में संघर्ष किया। उन्होंने कहा कि इन जातियों ने कभी मुगलों के खिलाफ तो कभी अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ अदम्य साहस के साथ लड़ाई लड़ी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अंग्रेजों ने इनके पराक्रम से भयभीत होकर वर्ष 1871 में क्रिमिनल ट्राइब्स एक्ट लागू किया और इन जातियों को जन्म से ही अपराधी घोषित कर दिया। स्वतंत्रता के बाद भी 1952 तक यह कलंक इन पर लगा रहा। बाबा साहब भीमराव अंबेडकर के प्रयासों से 31 अगस्त 1952 को इन जातियों को इससे मुक्ति मिली। उन्होंने कहा कि विमुक्त जाति दिवस उस ऐतिहासिक क्षण की याद दिलाता है जब इन समुदायों को आजादी के मायने समझ आए। योगी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में बीते 11 वर्षों में केंद्र और राज्य सरकार पूरी ईमानदारी से विमुक्त और घुमंतू जातियों के कल्याण के लिए कार्य कर रही है। प्रदेश में शिक्षा और आवास की दिशा में अनेक योजनाएं लागू की गई हैं।
उन्होंने बताया कि 9 जनपदों में जय प्रकाश नारायण सर्वोदय विद्यालय संचालित हो रहे हैं, दो आवासीय आश्रम पद्धति विद्यालय प्रारंभ हो चुके हैं, जबकि 101 आवासीय विद्यालय पहले से चल रहे हैं। यहां छात्रों को रहने, खाने से लेकर यूनिफॉर्म तक की व्यवस्था सरकार कर रही है। इसके अलावा 264 राजकीय अनुसूचित जाति छात्रावासों में विमुक्त जातियों के बच्चों के लिए भी विशेष सुविधा दी जा रही है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने वनटांगिया समाज का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि उनकी सरकार ने उन्हें राजस्व गांव का दर्जा दिया, मताधिकार का अधिकार दिया, उनके लिए घर, स्कूल और अस्पताल बनवाए। इसी तरह मुसहर, कोल, थारू, गौड़, चेरो और सहरिया जैसी जातियों के लिए भी योजनाएं संचालित की गईं। कुम्हार, निषाद और राजभर समाज को भी सरकारी योजनाओं से लाभान्वित किया गया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि अब विमुक्त और घुमंतू जातियों को भी जमीन के पट्टे और मतदान की सुविधा दी जाएगी। इस संबंध में उन्होंने समाज कल्याण मंत्री असीम अरुण से मंच से ही कहा कि घुमंतू जातियों के लिए बोर्ड का गठन किया जाए। उन्होंने विश्वास दिलाया कि जैसे शामली और वनटांगिया का मॉडल बना, उसी तरह घुमंतू जातियों के लिए भी योजनाएं लागू होंगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि प्रदेश की पुलिस भर्ती में घुमंतू जातियों से जुड़े कई युवक-युवतियों का चयन हुआ है, जो इस बात का प्रमाण है कि सरकार बिना भेदभाव के सभी वर्गों को समान अवसर दे रही है।
इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री संजय निषाद, मंत्री असीम अरुण, नरेन्द्र कश्यप, संजीव गौड़, बैजनाथ रावत, बेचन राम, जीत सिंह खरवार, विश्वनाथ प्रसाद, वाईपी सिंह, भगवान नाथ, डॉ. शोभा चौधरी सहित कई गणमान्य उपस्थित रहे।
