शुक्रवार, 15 अगस्त से पूरे देश में ‘फास्टैग एनुअल पास’ लागू हो गया है। अपनी गाड़ी के लिए फास्टैग एनुअल पास एक्टिव करने के लिए 3000 रुपये का एकमुश्त भुगतान करना होगा, यानी इसकी कीमत 3000 रुपये है। 3000 रुपये का फास्टैग एनुअल पास 1 साल या 200 ट्रिप के लिए वैलिड होगा। ये पास सिर्फ नॉन-कमर्शियल वाहनों जैसे- प्राइवेट कार, जीप और वैन के लिए मान्य है। 15 अगस्त यानी फास्टैग एनुअल पास लागू के पहले ही दिन शाम 4:30 बजे तक, लगभग 1.2 लाख यूजर्स ने फास्टैग एनुअल पास खरीदा और करीब 1.24 लाख ट्रांजैक्शन दर्ज किए गए। हालांकि, ये एनुअल पास उत्तर प्रदेश के 4 प्रमुख एक्सप्रेसवे पर नहीं चलेगा।

जी हां, उत्तर प्रदेश के 4 प्रमुख एक्सप्रेसवे- यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे, पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेसवे, बुंदेलखंड एक्सप्रेसवे और आगरा-लखनऊ एक्सप्रेसवे पर ये फास्टैग एनुअल पास नहीं चलेगा यानी यहां ये लागू नहीं होगा। इन चारों एक्सप्रेसवे पर आपके सामान्य फास्टैग खाते से ही टोल का पैसा कटेगा। दरअसल, उत्तर प्रदेश के ये चारों एक्सप्रेसवे राज्य सरकार के अधीन आने वाले स्टेट हाईवे हैं और फास्टैग एनुअल पास सिर्फ केंद्र सरकार के अधीन आने वाले नेशनल हाईवे पर ही लागू है। स्टेट हाईवे से गुजरने पर आपके सामान्य फास्टैग अकाउंट से ही टोल का पैसा कटेगा।
