नीट परीक्षा में हुए धांधली और यूसीजी नेट की परीक्षा रद्द करने के लिए जिम्मेदार प्रधानमंत्री व शिक्षा मंत्री के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर प्रदेश कांग्रेस में शुक्रवार को सड़क पर जमकर प्रदर्शन किया।
प्रदेश अध्यक्ष के नेतृत्व में कार्यकर्ता प्रदेश मुख्यालय से विधानसभा घेराव के लिए निकले थे हालांकि थोड़ा ही आगे चलने पर बैरिकेटिंग पर पुलिस ने सभी को रोक लिया। यहां कार्यकर्ताओं की पुलिस से नोकझोक हुई। इसी बीच अजय राय समेत पार्टी नेता बैरिकेडिंग लांघकर आगे बढ़ने लगे। पुलिस में बलपूर्वक रोका और यहां भी काफी धक्का-मुक्की हुई।
इसके बाद पुलिस जबरदस्ती अध्यक्ष समेत अन्य पार्टी नेताओं का कार्यकर्ताओं को हिरासत में लेकर इको गार्डन ले गई। इस दौरान कार्यकर्ता छात्रों के हित में परीक्षा रद्द करने और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी व शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के इस्तीफा की मांग कर रहे थे।
