भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच खेली जा रही 5 मैचों की टेस्ट श्रृंखला का चौथा मैच आज से रांची में खेला जा रहा है. सीरीज में 2-1 से पीछे चल रही इंग्लैंड ने आज पहले दिन का खेल ख़त्म होने तक 90 ओवर में 7 विकेट खोकर 302 रन बना लिए हैं. इंग्लैंड की तरफ से आखिरकार जहां अनुभवी जो रुट का शतक आया तो वहीं भारत की ओर से टेस्ट पदार्पण कर रहे आकाशदीप ने अपनी तेज गेंदबाजी का जलवा बिखेरा और 3 बड़े विकेट झटके.
दरअसल टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी इंग्लैंड अपने बेज़बॉल अंदाज में ही बैटिंग करती हुई नजर आयी. लेकिन 9 ओवर के बाद भारत ने वापसी की और एक के बाद एक विकेट झटके. जसप्रीत बुमराह की जगह आये बंगाल के आकाशदीप ने अपनी तेज गेंदबाजी से पिच पर तहलका मचा दिया. ऐसा लगा ही नहीं कि मानो आकाश भारत के लिए अपना पहला मैच खेल रहे हैं. मात्र 10 रन के भीतर ही इंग्लैंड के चोटी के तीनों बल्लेबाजों के विकेट लेकर आकाशदीप में मैदान में एक सनसनी मचा दी. इसके बाद जो रुट और बैरिस्टो ने पारी को संभालने का प्रयास किया लेकिन फिर भारत के अन्य गेंदबाजों ने बैरिस्टो समेत बेन स्टोक्स और अन्य बल्लेबाजों को भी नियमित अंतराल में पवेलियन भेजने का काम किया. जो रुट एक छोर पर अपने नाम के मुताबिक पिच पर अपनी जड़े जमा चुके हैं और शतक बनाकर खेल रहे हैं. रुट के साथ ओली रॉबिंसन 60 गेंदों पर 31 रन बनाकर खतरनाक दिख रहे हैं. भारत कल सुबह के पहले सत्र में ही जल्द से जल्द इंग्लैंड को ऑलआउट करना चाहेगा.
