रिपोर्ट के अनुसार , संथन को कार्डियक अरेस्ट हुआ। उन्हें क्रिप्टोजेनिक सिरोसिस का निदान किया गया था, जो शराब के सेवन से असंबंधित एक स्थिति है जो यकृत के कामकाज को प्रभावित करती है संगठन के वकील ने कहा कि जब उनका निधन हुआ तो उनके भाई अस्पताल में थे उनके पार्थिव शरीर को अंतिम संस्कार के लिए श्रीलंका स्थित उनके घर ले जाया जाएगा व्यवस्थाएं की जा रही है।
