शार्क टैंक इंडिया के पिछले सीज़न में शार्क में से एक के रूप में अश्नीर ग्रोवर के अभिनय ने उन्हें एक घरेलू नाम बना दिया। भारतपे के संस्थापक ने हाल ही में थापर इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी के वार्षिक उत्सव में भाग लिया, जहां उन्होंने शार्क टैंक इंडिया के चल रहे सीज़न की कम रेटिंग और विशेष रूप से अनुपम मित्तल पर कटाक्ष किया। उन्होंने कहा कि ये सभी अभी भी शार्क के ‘ऑडिशन’ की प्रक्रिया में हैं. अश्नीर की बातचीत का वीडियो एक्स पर एक प्रशंसक द्वारा अपलोड किया गया था।

कॉलेज फेस्ट के दौरान, अश्नीर ने अनुपम मित्तल पर तीखा कटाक्ष किया और हिंदी में कहा, “मित्तल साहब की ना उमर हो रही हे…दूसरा, गुस्सा वाला चला गया। ये तो सच है ना. गलत तो कुछ नहीं बोला मित्तल साहब ने हमें तारिका से। चला गया… तुम सब तो ठंडे ही हो सब। तभी तो पहले सीज़न की टीआरपी देख लो और दूसरे, तीसरे सीज़न की टीआरपी देख लो। सब पता लग जाएगा मित्तल सर बूढ़े हो रहे हैं… गुस्सा करने वाले चले गए, यह एक सच्चाई है। मिस्टर मित्तल ने कुछ भी गलत नहीं कहा है। आप सभी बहुत ठंडे हैं। पहले सीज़न की टीआरपी और दूसरे और तीसरे की टीआरपी जांचें सीज़न, तुम्हें पता चल जाएगा।”
