लोकसभा चुनाव में अब कुछ ही समय बचा है। इससे पहले उत्तर प्रदेश में कांग्रेस को एक और बड़ा झटका लगा है। कांग्रेस के एक और विधायक के उनका साथ छोड़कर भाजपा का दामन थाम लिया है। इससे बीजेपी को तो आगामी चुनाव में मजबूती मिलेगी, लेकिन कांग्रेस की मुसीबतें बढ़ गई हैं।
अजय कपूर साल 2002 से 2017 तक विधायक रहे
मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, यूपी में कानपुर से विधायक रहे अजय कपूर कांग्रेस का साथ छोड़कर भारतीय जनता पार्टी में शामिल हो गए हैं। अजय कपूर साल 2002 से 2017 तक विधायक रहे। साथ ही वह कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रीय सचिव भी थे, इस बार कांग्रेस ने उन्हें बिहार के सह प्रभारी की जिम्मेदारी भी दी थी और एक बार फिर कानपुर सीट से लोकसभा चुनाव में उतारना चाहती थी। लेकिन उससे पहले ही उन्होंने पार्टी छोड़ दी है।
