लखनऊ के चौक इलाके की बीचोंबीच एक 150 साल पुरानी हवेली खड़ी है — “हुसैन मंज़िल”। एक वक्त था जब यहां रौनक रहती थी, अब यहां सिर्फ सन्नाटा है। दिन में भले ही सब सामान्य दिखे, मगर रात होते ही हवेली के एक खास कमरे से हर कोई डरता है — वो कमरा जो पिछले 60 सालों से बंद है।
स्थानीय लोग बताते हैं कि रात 3 बजे के बाद उस कमरे से रोने, खरोंचने और किसी के दबी आवाज़ में “बचाओ…” कहने की आवाज़ें आती हैं।
लेकिन वो कमरा अंदर से बंद है — और दीवारों में सीलन इतनी है कि जैसे सदियों से वहां कुछ जिंदा दफ़्न हो।
आरव का फैसला
2018 में आरव नाम के एक 26 वर्षीय पत्रकार ने यह मामला सुना और तय किया कि वो सच्चाई जानकर रहेगा।
वो अकेले ही कैमरा, टॉर्च और एक वॉयस रिकॉर्डर लेकर हवेली पहुंचा। जैसे ही वो सीलन भरे उस कमरे के पास पहुंचा, वातावरण अचानक बर्फ़ सा ठंडा हो गया, जबकि बाहर गर्मी में पसीने छूट रहे थे।

1963 की सच्चाई
कुछ समय बाद आरव ने नगर निगम के पुराने रिकॉर्ड्स खंगाले — और जो मिला, वो किसी फिल्म से कम नहीं था।
साल 1963 में हवेली के मालिक नवाब इमरान हुसैन ने अपनी नौकरानी नज़रीन को हवेली के तहखाने में एक गुप्त कमरा बनवाते हुए देख लिया था। नज़रीन ने नवाब के कई काले राज जान लिए थे, और जब उसने पुलिस जाने की धमकी दी, तो उसे उसी कमरे में दीवार में ज़िंदा चुनवा दिया गया।
मौत आसान नहीं थी — उसके होंठ सिल दिए गए, और उसे कमरे में बंद कर दिया गया… ज़िंदा।
वो आज भी है…
आरव ने जब ये रिपोर्ट यूट्यूब पर डाली, तो कुछ ही दिनों में वीडियो वायरल हो गया। लेकिन ठीक उसके 7वें दिन, आरव गायब हो गया।
उसके कैमरे में आखिरी वीडियो बस यही दिखा — एक खुला दरवाज़ा, सीलन भरी दीवार, और एक अंधेरी परछाईं जो कैमरे की ओर बढ़ रही थी…
